Real Cause of Diabetes | Type-2 Diabetes And Insulin Resistance

What is insulin?

What is insulin resistance?

In search of the real cause of Type 2 diabetes, a professor named Dr. Gerald Reaven from Stanford University has been working in the field of diabetes for a long period. Now the cells do not need any more sugar so they are not opening their gates thereby showing resistance.   4. Inactivity: A lack of regular physical activity might reduce insulin sensitivity, causing cells to be less responsive to insulin.
  5. Age: As people get older, their cells may become less responsive to insulin, increasing their chances of developing insulin resistance.  
  6. Hormonal Changes: Insulin resistance can be caused by conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and hormonal abnormalities.
