How to Make Chocolate at Home | Diabetic Chocolate

Nowadays buying healthyĀ sugar-free chocolate is very expensive, it costs us a lot, but it is also aĀ favorite food item of most of us. So, what to do now should we stop eating chocolate? The answer is no you donā€™t have to sacrifice yourĀ favorite food items instead we will learn to make homemade sugar-free dark chocolate. Letā€™s learnĀ step-by-step methods to create our chocolate.

Ingredients to MakeĀ Sugar-Free Chocolate

  • 1 Cup Peanuts
  • Cocoa Powder
  • 30 gm Diabexy Sugar
  • Coconut oil
  • Vanilla Extract

I suggest you take unsweetened cocoa powder as it givesĀ you the taste of chocolate without increasing your blood sugar level. You can use any otherĀ flavor that suits your taste if you don't have vanilla extract. I used vanillaĀ flavor as it is myĀ favoriteĀ flavor. Diabexy Sugar is the best alternative for regular as it is low in GI, carbohydrate, andĀ diabetic-friendly sugar. From now on, not even kids and normal people, even sugar patients can eat this chocolate. That's why I named it aĀ diabetic-friendly sugar-free dark chocolate recipe.

How to MakeĀ Chocolate at Home with Cocoa Powder

It is very easy to makeĀ sugar-free chocolate just follow theĀ step-by-step method:

  • Take 1 cup Peanuts & roast them.

  • Now spread the Peanuts in a tray and start removing the covering (shuck) of peanuts.

  • Take a large bowl and add a small bowl of cocoa powder.

  • Now add 30 gm diabexy sugar.
  • After adding sugar add 4-5 tbsp coconut oil and Ā½ tsp vanilla extract or any other flavor you like.

Now through the double boiling method melt this mixture and mix them properly to make it a thick paste. In a double boiling method take boiled water in a steel bowl and put this mixture above it.

Now take a tin box and cover it with parchment paper (Baking paper); if you donā€™t have baking paper, you can also takeĀ aluminum foil. It is available at every supermarket and can be foundĀ near Kirana stores.

Now take the mixture of chocolate and put it into the tin box.

Now put your roasted peanuts on it and gently press them into the mixture

Now keep the mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Now your homemade chocolate bar is ready.
