Make Diabetic-friendly Roti & Sabji at Home

 

Have you ever thought about the flour or Roti (Chapati) you are consuming is not diabetic friendly. In fact it increases your blood sugar level. Regular atta is full of carbs and it turns into sugar which leads to an increase in your blood sugar. So, Today we will discuss how to make gluten free Roti and Sabji. First step to make sugar free roti for sugar patients is to replace your regular atta with Diabexy sugar control atta. I will also tell you the reason why you should replace your regular atta with Diabexy atta.

Ingredients to make Diabetic Special Roti and Sabji

Diabetes patients do not need to sacrifice their taste, they just need the right guidance and options to enjoy their breakfast and meals without increasing their blood sugar level. Ingredients to make Gluten free roti are:

  • 1 tbsp (Tablespoon) Oil
  • Diabexy Atta 150g
  • 1 tbsp Jeera
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
  • 2 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 Chopped Onion
  • 1 Green Chilli 
  • 1 tsp(Teaspoon) Haldi (Turmeric Powder)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Cluster beans (Guar Phali) - 250g
  • Salt as per Taste

Diabetic Friendly Recipe for Roti & Sabji

Before making Roti First we will start with Diabetes friendly Sabji.

  • First of all, Heat 1 tbsp oil in a cooking pan (Cauldron). You can use Oil like Mustard Oil or Olive Oil, for best results I would recommend Desi ghee. 
  • When you notice your oil is heated then Put 1 tablespoon of Jeera, 1 tablespoon chopped Garlic and mix them properly.
  • After mixing it properly Put your 2 Chopped Tomatoes, 2 Chopped Onions, and 1 Green Chilli into it and again mix it properly.
  • When you notice that it is mixed properly add 1 teaspoon of Haldi, 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala and ½ teaspoon of Red Chilli powder and mix them well again.
  • Now wait for some time till the onion changes its color. When the onion starts changing its color to brownish that means it is heated properly, Now add 250 gm of Cluster beans (Guar Phali) and will again mix it properly.
  • Now let it cook for the next 5-7 minutes and your diabetes friendly sabji will be ready.

How to make Diabetic-friendly Roti 

As our special sabji is ready now we will make diabetic special roti. Follow the steps to make Diabetes friendly gluten-free roti.

  • First take 150 gm of Diabexy atta and make soft dough by adding some water just like we make dough of Regular atta.
  • After making soft dough, take a small portion of it and make a round shape by Rolling it properly as usual.  
  • Last and the final step of our delicious taste rich roti for sugar patients, Cook it from both the sides.
