💬 My Diabetes Reversal Journey – By Shazad
Hello, my name is Shahzad, and I want to share how I took control of my diabetes with the help of a proper diet and lifestyle changes. Honestly, I never thought it was possible—but now I feel healthier than ever.
A few months ago, my fasting sugar was very high, and my random sugar levels were also not in control. I used to feel uneasy, especially during festivals and holidays. But then I started following the low glycemic load diet and the Liquid Liner Method taught on the Diabexy YouTube channel, and my life started changing.
Now, my fasting sugar is close to 100 mg/dL, and my random sugar stays around 150 mg/dL—which is a big improvement for me.
🧠 What I Learned
I learned that fat is stored in our body as triglycerides, and when we follow a low glycemic load diet, our body starts breaking down that fat for energy. This fat moves through the blood to the liver, where it is used as fuel. That’s why if triglyceride levels are a little high during weight loss, it's not a bad thing—it means your body is burning fat.
Right now, I’m working on reducing my weight from 75 kg to around 55–60 kg, and as I lose fat, my triglyceride levels are also slowly coming down.
💡 My Advice to Others
I truly feel like I’ve taken back control of my health. I’ve subscribed to the Diabexy YouTube channel, and I regularly watch their informative videos. They’ve helped me understand diabetes in a simple way.
If you’re someone struggling with diabetes, don’t give up. Stay consistent, follow the right food plan, and you will see results.
